We see it differently - and deliver on time, on budget, with the quality that lasts. ### Pain Points - "Sound familiar?" Software is too expensive, takes too long, and delivers too late. The situations differ - the feeling is always the same: #### The Excel Nightmare (SME) Everyone works with their own tools - and in the end, you still don't have reliable numbers. - Stefan uses Excel, Sabine relies on ChatGPT and notes - The department head wants to buy new software for €30k - No reliable numbers because everyone has their own system - Everyone tells you how complex it all is #### The IT Queue (Enterprise) Your department has been waiting months for a feature - and the backlog keeps growing. - 8 months of waiting for a single feature - Your team keeps things running, but there's no capacity for development - Workarounds and shadow IT instead of real solutions - The external service provider has pushed the timeline for the third time #### The Failed Project (All) Your last software project failed - and so did your trust in it. - Twice as expensive, a year longer than promised - Junior consultants instead of experienced architects - Months of analysis before anything actually happened - Nobody uses it in the end - or there's only a concept paper #### The Standard Software Compromise (SME) Standard software fits 80% - but the important 20% is missing. - The features that make your business special aren't covered - Workarounds, paper trails, and daily frustration - Custom software has always been too expensive and too risky - You're stuck between "too generic" and "too costly" ### Target Audience - "It doesn't have to be this way." Your problem is probably easier to solve than you've been told. #### For companies that expect reliability (Enterprise) Your team lacks capacity? We don't: We think along, deliver on schedule and without compromising on quality. Solution Architects with 10-20 years of experience work directly on your project - no junior consultants, no project manager pyramids. If something isn't working, you hear about it immediately, not as a surprise at the end. That's why ARRI, Messe Frankfurt and Sportcast have been working with us for over a decade. *Projects from €150k · Senior architects · Seamless integration* #### Custom software? Works for SMEs too. (SME) We handle the complete project, from idea to go-live. You don't need an IT department, just someone who can explain your business to us. Thanks to AI-powered methods, we build solutions that make sense for mid-sized businesses: in weeks instead of months, at an investment you can justify. And in the Discovery Workshop, you'll learn what's possible before you commit. *Projects from €50k · No IT department needed* ### Process - Three Steps to Working Software #### 01 DISCOVER - Understand & Frame You tell us your problem. We ask the right questions, sketch a solution, and tell you honestly where costs are heading - as a corridor, not a marketing promise. - 2-day Discovery Workshop - Solution sketch - Honest cost range #### 02 BUILD - Show, then build First we make your software visible - as a walk-through click-dummy, where you recognize your own processes. On that basis we quote a fixed price. Then our AI-powered pipeline builds faster than you're used to. - Hands-on click-dummy - Fixed price after prototype sign-off - Tested software in weeks #### 03 GROW - Operate & Evolve After go-live, we don't leave you alone. Whether support, updates, or new features - we remain your partner as long as you need us. - Flexible retainer - No minimum term - Support as needed ### Why pripares? 8 good reasons to work with us #### Real Developers AI writes code. Only an expert knows if it's actually good. #### On Budget. On Schedule. Other providers delay. We deliver. We hear this time and again as the decisive difference - no surprises, no excuses. #### Taming Chaos We reduce complexity instead of selling it. Your problem is simpler than you think. #### Experience as Problem Solvers From medical technology to media, from enterprise to SMEs. What matters is the problem - not the industry. #### Experience + AI Senior Solution Architects working with AI-powered methods. The result: more time for quality, testing, and documentation. #### Any Project Size Focus projects from €50k. Complex projects up to €500k+. Always with senior architects. #### Open Solutions Your technology, your choice. We use what fits your project - or work with what you already have. Open source foundation. No vendor lock-in. #### Low Barrier Discovery Workshop for €3,500. After that, you'll know where you stand. ### Workshop overview **The Discovery Workshop** - From vague problem to a clear solution sketch in 2 days - with an honest cost range. What you get: - Analysis of your situation and processes - Inventory: What exists already? What works? - Solution sketch - clearly visualized - Top use cases identified and prioritized - Honest cost range - a corridor, not a marketing promise The solution sketch is yours - no matter what happens next. You can use it internally, hand it to another service provider, or come back to us later. No obligations. Price: €3,500 | Duration: 2 days | No follow-up obligations ### Homepage FAQ **What makes your approach different?** We combine two things: First, experienced architects who've been building software for 10+ years and can immediately assess problems. Second, AI-powered tools that accelerate routine work and free up capacity - for clean architecture, thorough testing, and clear documentation. The result isn't "AI-generated" software, but craftsmanship-quality work in less time. **We don't have an IT department. Is that okay?** Absolutely. We handle the complete project - from idea to operation. You just need someone who can explain your business to us. **Do we have to rebuild everything?** No. We first look at what you have. Often, targeted adjustments and connections achieve more than a completely new system. Stefan can keep his Excel if he must - as long as the numbers add up in the end. **What does a typical project cost?** It depends on scope. Focus projects start at €50,000, more complex ventures can range from €150,000 to €500,000+. Through our methods, we achieve more quality in less time than traditional providers. The Discovery Workshop for €3,500 gives you an honest cost range - the binding fixed price is calculated later, on the basis of a walk-through click-dummy. **What if everything changes because of AI?** That's exactly why we don't build closed systems. Your software is based on open-source technologies, your data is cleanly structured and API-accessible. Whatever comes - new AI tools, other systems, a different service provider - your solution is open to it. **Aren't we too small as an SME?** On the contrary. Thanks to AI-powered methods, projects from €50,000 now make economic sense that previously only worked at €200,000+. We work with ARRI and Messe Frankfurt just as much as with mid-sized companies. The Discovery Workshop for €3,500 is deliberately designed so that the entry point works for every company size. More questions about the workshop on the Discovery Workshop page. For questions about how we work, see How We Work. --- ## Solutions ### Solutions Overview URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions **From Problem to Working Software.** We build software that solves your problem, not creates the next one. Excel chaos, data silos, legacy systems: We've seen it all. And solved it. #### Digitize Processes From Excel and manual workflows to a digital solution that grows with your business. Pain point: "Stefan works with Excel, Sabine with ChatGPT..." #### Connect Systems End data silos and manual reconciliation. We connect your existing systems into a functioning whole. Pain point: "We have 5 systems but no big picture." #### Modernize Software From aging system to future-proof platform - without throwing everything overboard. Pain point: "Our software is 15 years old and nobody dares touch it." #### Web Applications Portals, dashboards, and internal tools - custom-built for your requirements. Pain point: "We need a tool that doesn't exist off the shelf." #### AI Integration Not as a buzzword, but as a real tool. We integrate AI where it delivers measurable value. Pain point: "Everyone talks about AI, but where do we start?" #### Custom Solutions Image processing, real-time systems, plant control - when standard approaches aren't enough, we build the right solution. Pain point: "Our problem is too specialized for standard software." ### Web Application Development URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions/web-applications **Custom Web Applications** You need a tool that doesn't exist off the shelf. That used to mean: big budget, long project. Today we build it AI-powered in weeks. Standard software covers 80%, but the critical 20% is missing. pripares develops custom web applications that match your exact requirements: portals, dashboards, specialized applications, and internal tools. Responsive, intuitive, integrated with your existing systems. Our Solution Architects start with the core problem and build a first version in weeks, not months. Custom web application development for SMEs and enterprise companies, from Munich. Open source, no lock-in. Pain points: - You bend your processes to fit the standard software - and it still only covers 80%. The last 20% you solve with workarounds. Manual steps that nobody documented, but without which nothing works. - Officially everyone uses the same tool. In reality: workarounds, Excel on the side, and handwritten notes. Every department has built their own solution. You notice at the latest when someone gets sick or the handover doesn't work. - Your customers don't have a portal. So they call. Every day. Status inquiries, resending documents, confirming appointments - all by phone and email. Your team spends hours on work that a self-service portal would handle in seconds. - You need a dashboard that shows at a glance where the company stands. What you get: Excel exports and manually built slides. By the time the numbers are compiled, they're outdated. And nobody's quite sure if they're even correct. - "Custom software" sounds like €300,000, 12 months, and a project that derails. Maybe you've experienced exactly that. Since then, every proposal for a new IT project gets blocked. Our approach: We build software that pays off from day 1. No prototype, no specification document. - We solve the core problem first. Features are added when they're needed. - Function and usability belong together. Software that nobody likes using doesn't solve any problem. - Your application talks to your systems. From the start, not bolted on later. - What we build belongs to you: open source, standard technologies, cleanly documented. No lock-in. - If standard software is enough, we say so - even if that means less work for us. Results: - A web application that fits your workflows and measurably saves time. - Your team enjoys working with it. Intuitive interface, on any device, without training. - Role-based access, data protection, and accessibility from day one. - In the Discovery Workshop, we develop a solution sketch, prioritized use cases, and an honest cost range. Then you decide. #### Web Application Development - FAQ **Can we further develop the application ourselves later?** Yes. We build on standard technologies and document thoroughly. You get the complete source code - any good development team can continue working with it. Or we continue maintaining the application for you. **How do you ensure the application will actually be used?** By involving the people who will work with it. We think function and usability together, get feedback early, and adjust what doesn't work. Software built without considering the user won't be used by anyone. **How do I keep control over scope and costs?** You decide after each phase how to proceed. We work in short cycles with clear results - not hidden away for months. When requirements change, we adjust priorities without the project derailing. **How long until we can use a first version?** That depends on the scope. A focused MVP can be ready in 4-8 weeks. In the Discovery Workshop, we define together what the first version needs - and how quickly that's realistically achievable. **Can we start small and expand later?** That's exactly how we prefer to work. The first version solves the core problem. After that, you decide after each phase what comes next. This keeps risk manageable and you see results quickly. **Where does the application run and who handles operations?** We decide that together. Cloud, your own servers, or hosting of your choice. We can handle operations completely or enable your team to do it themselves. Both work because we document thoroughly and use standard technologies. **Are your web applications accessible?** Accessibility is not an add-on for us, but part of our development standard. We implement legal requirements and work with our partner reducse for specialized accessibility topics. ### Process Digitization URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions/process-digitization **Digitize Processes** Your business isn't complicated. But your processes have become so. We digitize what has the biggest impact. Manual processes cost time, cause errors, and slow your growth. pripares digitizes your business processes with a custom software solution that fits your workflows exactly. Whether calculation, approval processes, quality assurance, or reporting: Our Solution Architects analyze what you have and build a solution that works. For SMEs and enterprise companies, from Munich. Pain points: - Critical business data is stuck in Excel spreadsheets that only one person understands. - Important workflows run via email, phone, or paper, without traceable documentation. - Approvals and authorizations take forever because they run through email chains or signature folders. - Every department has their own "solution", but nobody has the full picture. - When staff changes, process knowledge is lost because nothing is documented. - Reports take hours because data from different sources has to be manually compiled. Our approach: We look at what you have and build on top of it. No revolution, but targeted digitization of the relevant processes. The goal: A solution that grows with your company. - We start with the biggest pain point, not the fanciest feature. - What works stays. We only replace what's actually slowing you down. - We integrate existing systems instead of creating another silo. - Your data gets a clean structure so reports are finally accurate. - In the end, your employees can use the solution, not just our developers. Results: - All data in one place, not spread across ten tools. - Reliable numbers at the push of a button. - Processes that everyone on the team understands and can use. - Documented workflows instead of knowledge stuck in individual heads. - First usable version in weeks, not months - because we develop AI-powered. #### Process Digitization - FAQ **Do we have to switch everything at once?** No. We can proceed step by step, starting with the most critical process, then expanding. This way you see results quickly with manageable risk. **What happens with our existing data?** We migrate it. Whether Excel spreadsheets, database exports, CSV files, or data from existing systems: We bring everything into a clean structure. Data cleanup is part of almost every project. **Which processes are suitable for digitization?** In principle, any process that currently runs manually, paper-based, or through workarounds. Typical examples: calculations, approval processes, quality assurance, order processing, reporting. In the Discovery Workshop, we find out together where the biggest leverage lies. **How do we ensure our employees actually use the new solution?** By involving them early. We don't build software in an ivory tower, but regularly gather feedback from the people who will work with it. This enormously increases acceptance. **Do we need someone to maintain the software afterwards?** Not necessarily in-house. We offer operation and further development as a retainer. But your software belongs to you, any good developer can continue working with it. ### System Integration URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions/system-integration **Connect Systems** You have the software. It just doesn't talk to each other. So your team copies data by hand and in the end nobody trusts the numbers. We connect what's there, without adding another system on top. Five systems, no big picture: Manual data reconciliation, duplicate maintenance, and missing interfaces slow companies down. pripares connects existing systems via open APIs and custom integrations, without adding another tool on top. Whether ERP, CRM, accounting, or industry software: Our Solution Architects find the simplest integration that works. System integration and API development for SMEs and enterprise companies, from Munich. Pain points: - Someone asks for current numbers and half the day is gone. Open five systems, export, merge, reconcile. And hope nothing's missing. - Only one person on the team understands how data gets from A to B. And she's out sick. - The new system was supposed to save time, but it's not connected to the rest. Now your team maintains the same data in two worlds - and has less time than before. - Three systems with different numbers. Which ones do you bring to the meeting? Our approach: We find out where things get stuck. Not every system needs to talk to every other - often it's enough to establish the two or three critical connections. - We start where it slows you down the most - not with the prettiest architecture. - Existing systems stay. We build bridges, not a new landscape. - No middleware monster: As much technology as needed, as little as possible. - If it turns out a system should be replaced, we say so openly and explain why transparently. Results: - A complete picture of your business data, without having to touch every system. - Decisions based on data you can actually trust. - Month-end closes at the push of a button instead of taking days. #### System Integration - FAQ **What if our existing software doesn't have an API?** That happens, especially with older systems. We almost always find a way - via database access, file exports, or adapters. In the workshop, we clarify what's technically possible. **Why not just use Zapier, Make, or another middleware?** For simple connections, such tools can work. But as soon as business logic comes into play - validations, transformations, error handling - they hit their limits. We build integrations that do exactly what your process requires, nothing more and nothing less. **What happens if we replace a system later?** That's exactly why we build open interfaces. When a system is replaced, only the adapter needs to be adjusted - not the entire integration. **Do all systems need to be integrated at the same time?** No. We start with the connection that's slowing you down the most and expand step by step. This way you see results quickly and can decide after each phase how to proceed. ### Software Modernization URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions/software-modernization **Modernize Software** A complete rebuild is too costly. Continuing as-is gets more expensive every month. We modernize what's holding you back and keep what works. Outdated software costs companies productivity, budget, and developer capacity. pripares modernizes existing systems step by step - without a complete rebuild and without operational disruption. Whether a new interface on the old core, modular replacement, or controlled migration: Our Solution Architects analyze the existing system and find the simplest solution that works. Legacy modernization, software migration, and technology updates for SMEs and enterprise companies, from Munich. Pain points: - Your software is 10+ years old and nobody dares to change anything. - Every small change takes disproportionately long and costs disproportionately much. - There are no tests, no current documentation - and nobody who truly understands the code. - The original developer or service provider is no longer available. - The software is getting slower, users are frustrated, and the helpdesk is overwhelmed. - Security vulnerabilities and outdated dependencies are a growing risk. Our approach: We analyze what's there. What works stays. What's slowing you down gets modernized - piece by piece, with a system that runs at all times. - We find the right lever - whether that's a new interface on the existing backend or replacing modules step by step. - Your system keeps running: No big bang, no downtime. - We use technologies that will still find developers in five years. - Automated tests and clean documentation - so your system stays maintainable long-term. - If a rebuild is actually the better option, we say so openly - and explain why transparently. Results: - Software that supports your team instead of slowing them down. - New features in days instead of weeks, because the codebase is manageable again. - Significantly lower maintenance costs through modern technologies. - Clean documentation - your system is no longer dependent on individual people. #### Software Modernization - FAQ **Can we keep the old software running while it's being modernized?** Yes, that's the normal case. We modernize step by step so your operations never stop. Old and new components run in parallel until the migration is complete. **We have no documentation for our current software. Is that a problem?** That's more the rule than the exception. We analyze the existing code and actual usage patterns to understand what the software really does - not just what it was supposed to do. **What if the old service provider won't cooperate?** As long as we have access to the source code or the running system, we don't need the old provider. We're used to working our way into unfamiliar code. **How long does a modernization take?** That depends on the scope - from a few weeks for a new interface to several months for a complete migration. The key point: You see results after each phase, not just at the end. We clarify what's realistic in the workshop. ### AI Integration URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions/ai-integration **AI Integration Done Right** Everyone's talking about AI, your employees are experimenting on their own. But nobody knows where it actually pays off. We find out - and bring AI into production. Everyone's talking about AI, but where does it actually pay off? pripares finds the AI applications with real ROI and brings them into production - integrated into existing processes and systems. Whether document processing, data analysis, or automating repetitive tasks: Our Solution Architects evaluate what pays off and implement it EU AI Act compliant. No proof-of-concepts that fizzle out, but AI solutions that run. For SMEs and enterprise, from Munich. Pain points: - Your employees use ChatGPT for emails, summaries, research. Some well, some questionably. What's missing: a plan for where AI actually benefits the company and who's responsible for it. - In the demo, AI summarized contracts in seconds instead of hours. Three months later, the intern is doing it again. Because data quality wasn't right and nobody changes their habits for a prototype. - Legal stopped AI usage until someone can clarify whether customer data flows into the model. That was four months ago. Nothing's happened since. - OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Mistral, Open Source - and a new model every week. No matter what you choose: in six months there'll be something better. - Your desk is covered with AI proposals. Transformation, disruption, game-changer. Ask for concrete ROI for your company, and it goes quiet. Our approach: We start with your problem, not with the technology. Not: What can AI do? But: Where are you losing time and money today? - We find the AI applications with real ROI - not the ones with the best demo. - No vendor lock-in. When a better model comes along tomorrow, we swap the model, not the entire solution. - We deploy AI where your employees already work. In the existing system, not in a new tool alongside it. - And when AI isn't the right solution, we say so. Sometimes a well-built algorithm makes more sense than a large language model. Results: - Less routine work, more time for what matters. Your employees do what you hired them for. - AI that runs in production - not a prototype in a sandbox. - Data privacy your DPO will appreciate. Your data doesn't train any models. EU AI Act compliant. - A clear answer on where AI pays off for your company - in euros, not in buzzwords. #### AI Integration - FAQ **Do we need our own data to use AI?** Not necessarily. Many AI applications work with general models enriched with your business context. For specialized predictions, we need historical data. What makes sense for your case, we clarify in the workshop. **What happens with our business data?** We exclusively work with business tiers from providers that don't use customer data for model training. EU AI Act compliant. Your trade secrets remain your trade secrets. **Will AI replace our employees?** No. AI makes your employees faster and relieves them of routine work. The expertise and decision-making competence stays with people. **What's the difference between an AI pilot project and a real integration?** A pilot project shows whether AI works for a specific use case. Integration builds it into your existing systems and workflows, with access management, monitoring, and everything that goes with it. Many companies get stuck at the pilot stage. We bring AI into production. **What if we want to switch to a different AI model in a year?** That's exactly why we build provider-independently. When a better model comes along or prices change, we swap the model - not the entire solution. **How long until AI is productively deployed?** You often see first results within a few weeks. A clearly defined use case - like document processing - can be implemented quickly. More complex integrations with multiple systems take longer. In the workshop, we define the scope so you know in advance what to expect. **Can't anyone who knows about AI do this?** AI tools have become accessible - but integrating an AI solution into existing systems, with real data, access management, and monitoring, is a different thing than a ChatGPT prototype. Just as AI-generated code can look clean without being maintainable, an AI demo can impress without being production-ready. **Why pripares and not a specialized AI consultant?** Because we don't consult and then leave. We build the solution, integrate it into your systems, and bring it into production. Many AI consultants deliver concepts and pilots. We deliver software that runs. ### Specialized Solutions URL: https://pripares.com/en/solutions/specialized-solutions **Custom Solutions** Many vendors stop at the interface. We start there: at the hardware, at the performance, at what's really difficult. Some software projects need more than solid web development. Real-time image processing for medical technology, GPU rendering for camera systems, plant control with radio networks and sensors - pripares has been developing highly complex software solutions for companies like ARRI, Zeiss and Munich Surgical Imaging for 25 years. Our Solution Architects bring the technical depth that other vendors don't have. From Munich, for enterprise and SMEs. Pain points: - The prototype runs. But as soon as real data volumes flow or real-time requirements kick in, the solution breaks down. Your vendor has never done performance optimization at this level. - Your product combines sensors, controls and visualization. But no standard tool maps your specific hardware, and your current software partner understands web, but not the interface to the physical world. - A mistake in the OR isn't annoying, it's dangerous. Your software must work under the highest quality requirements. You need a partner who knows the standard, not one who has to learn it first. - You have a good vendor for your web applications. But when it comes to GPU rendering, image processing or radio protocols, the expertise is missing. The project stalls because nobody can go the last mile. - We optimize for **performance from the start**, not as a patch at the end. - We work at the **interface between software and hardware**. Not theoretically, but daily. - Some of our specialized projects, like for ARRI, we've maintained for over 20 years. Not because the client can't switch, but because domain knowledge can't be replaced. - Even with complex technology, we start small. With a **proof of concept** that shows whether the approach works before the budget grows. - **Our expertise is problem-solving**, not a specific technology. We work with whatever makes sense for your project. Results: - **Systems your users can rely on.** In the OR, on the track, in production. - **Proven performance**, tested under real conditions, not just in the lab. - **A team that understands your domain.** Whether medical technology, broadcast or sensors. - **Clean architecture** that's maintainable and extensible. Without starting over at the next expansion stage. #### Specialized Solutions - FAQ **Do you only work with large companies like ARRI or Messe Frankfurt?** No. The projects with ARRI and Messe Frankfurt demonstrate our technical range, but we build custom solutions for SMEs just the same. The Alpenhunde timing system is a good example: A focused project with a clear result. **How does a specialized project start?** Like all our projects: with the Discovery Workshop. In two days, we clarify what's technically possible, what the architecture should look like and whether a proof of concept makes sense. Then you decide. **Can we develop the software ourselves later?** In principle: yes. We build on clean architecture, document thoroughly and use open technologies. But specialized software requires specialized knowledge. That's why we maintain many of these projects long-term. Not because you have to, but because it makes sense. **How do you ensure performance requirements are met?** By optimizing for performance from the start, not at the end. We know the pitfalls from 25 years of experience with real-time systems. Performance tests are an integral part of our development, not a check at the end when it's too late to change the architecture. **We already have an IT vendor. Can you still help?** Absolutely. In many specialized projects, that's exactly how we work: Your existing partner handles the standard IT, we take over the specialized part. It works when the interfaces are cleanly defined. And that's exactly part of our job. --- ## Success Stories URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories **Built. Delivered. In Production.** From highly complex medical technology to focused SME solutions - we build software that works. ### MSI Surgical Microscope URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/msi-surgical-microscope **MSI Operationsmikroskop: Software for digital microsurgery** From the touch interface to real-time image processing: we build the entire software platform of the MSI Operationsmikroskop - meeting the highest medical quality standards. #### About Munich Surgical Imaging Munich Surgical Imaging (MSI) develops a fully digital surgical microscope for microsurgery - in daily clinical use, in ENT and now also in ophthalmic surgery. We have been working with MSI since 2013 on the continuous development of the software, in close collaboration with the experts at MSI. #### Software that supports surgeons at their best **Microscope control and image processing** The software covers everything from microscope control via a touch GUI to real-time digital image processing. It is designed to support surgeons in their work during surgery in the best possible way. **Iterative development with Scrum and User Centered Design** Concept, design and engineering run in Scrum, in close exchange with the experts at MSI. New ideas emerge following User Centered Design principles - we visualise them through click dummies and high-fidelity prototypes and integrate user feedback iteratively. **High-performance implementation with C++ and CUDA** Implementation is done in C++, OpenGL, CUDA and SQLite. For the user interface we built our own GUI framework - tailored specifically to the requirements of the surgical microscope. **Calibration and commissioning** Before image processing can highlight structures, the microscope itself has to work with absolute precision - depth rendering exact, illumination uniform, behaviour identical across every device shipped. To make that reliable, we also built the calibration and commissioning software: for sensor, aperture, illumination and stereo optics, plus general tooling for putting the microscope into service. #### Functions in the operating room What the MSI Operationsmikroskop delivers thanks to the software: - Real-time image manipulation - predefined and custom Looks adjust colour, brightness and contrast so that fine blood vessels, nerves or tissue boundaries stand out more clearly. - Image and video capture - stills and recordings from surgery can be saved directly on the microscope - for documentation, reports and teaching. - Multiple video outputs - the microscope image can be transferred live to additional displays. - Patient information at hand - surgeons can display MRI or CT scans directly during surgery. - Assist Mode - other doctors can point out image details or mark sections for teaching purposes. ### ARRIRAW Converter URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/arri-arriraw **ARRIRAW Converter: Real-time processing of camera raw data** The ARRIRAW Converter (ARC) processes MXF/ARRIRAW raw data platform-independently, GPU-accelerated and in optimal image quality. #### About ARRI Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (ARRI), Munich, founded in 1917. Manufacturer of camera and lighting systems for film and media. The ALEXA camera series shoots roughly 80% of the world's largest cinema productions. To date, 18 Scientific and Engineering Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. #### What we built **A platform-independent desktop tool** The ARRIRAW Converter runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. We built our own GUI framework in C++ and OpenGL for it, rendering the design pixel-precisely on every platform. **GPU-accelerated image processing** Real-time processing of sensor raw data isn't possible without the GPU. We leverage GPGPU technologies like CUDA and OpenCL to run the entire image processing pipeline highly optimised on the graphics card. **Conversion in optimal image quality** MXF/ARRIRAW raw data can be transcoded, treated with looks and rendered to production-ready formats like OpenEXR, DPX or ProRes. With full control over every processing step. ### Sportcast Partnership URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/sportcast-partnership **Four systems. Over ten years. In daily live operation.** Since 2013, we've been supporting Sportcast with the TV production of the Bundesliga. #### About Sportcast Sportcast GmbH is a subsidiary of the DFL and has produced the worldwide TV base signal for all Bundesliga matches since 2006. The company also handles international distribution to over 200 countries. **Highlight:** Behind every match runs planning and quality software that we helped build. #### A Bundesliga matchday takes shape in software, long before kickoff. In the production run-up, crews are assembled, external teams accredited, shooting locations and dates set. Before each match, the matchday plan records who needs to be where and with which task. On production day itself, everyone works through standardised checklists, so that nothing gets forgotten and the quality standards are met. After the production, incidents are documented and reports compiled, to keep the quality high for future broadcasts. All this organisation around the matchday runs on systems we built. #### Four systems in live operation *Our work for Sportcast began in 2013 with a single planning tool. Over the years, one assignment turned into four systems.* **Since 2014: PLAN-IT: personnel and equipment planning** The high number of matches per season across the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga requires planning that brings together hundreds of people, locations, technical disciplines and dates. That's what we built PLAN-IT for. Today, around 80 Sportcast users work with the system: the schedulers assemble the crews match by match, the finance department controls costs and reviews invoices, and the production managers can access all this data anytime. Through the integrated Web Rate-Card Tool, external customers like ARD can book additional technical services on their own that flow directly into the planning. Master data, deployment plans, blocked dates, reporting: all in one system. **Since 2015: MST: accreditation of external crews** On every Bundesliga matchday, it isn't only Sportcast teams in the stadium. Broadcasters bring their own ENG teams, clubs send their media crews, DFL technical partners provide stadium technology. All of them need accreditation before the match, and Sportcast, as host broadcaster, grants it. MST is the platform that handles this. External users register their teams online, specify tasks and shooting locations, upload documents. Sportcast reviews, approves or declines, assigns the teams to the corresponding shooting locations and creates the camera overview. **Since 2022: Dispo-Tool: Unified matchday plan** A TV production is only as good as the information that reaches every person involved on time. Directors, camera operators and all other roles need to know when to be where, which match information matters, and what specifics the respective location brings. The Dispo-Tool gives production managers a unified structure for the matchday plan: cover page, notes, crew list, dates and much more. Content from PLAN-IT flows in automatically and the production manager adds details for the respective match. Where each PM used to work with their own format, there is now consistent documentation for every Bundesliga match. **Since July 2025: RePort: digital quality assurance** RePort is a central platform for the quality management of TV productions. It spans the dashboard with digital checklists, the structured incident management, and the creation and maintenance of reports. A differentiated user management controls who can access which content. ### RePort by Sportcast URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/sportcast-report **RePort: Digital Quality Assurance for First-Class TV Productions** With RePort, we built a central platform for Sportcast that takes the quality management of their TV productions to a whole new level. #### About Sportcast Sportcast GmbH is a subsidiary of the DFL and has been producing the worldwide TV base signal for all Bundesliga matches since 2006. The company is also responsible for international distribution to over 200 countries. #### RePort: Smart Quality Management **Real-time dashboard for production preparation** Already during production preparation, a digital checklist function provides clarity: all to-dos are visible at any time and can be processed conveniently - including on mobile. A dashboard makes it possible to track the current state of preparations in real time. **Structured incident management** After production, the focus shifts to the final reports: they document whether a production ran smoothly or whether anything stood out. When incidents are recorded, they automatically land in the incident management module, where they are processed, analysed and evaluated in a structured way - fast, transparent and traceable at any time. This makes it possible to take targeted measures to prevent future incidents. **Central production overview** The production overview makes it immediately clear to the internal quality management team which reports for a production have already been submitted and how many incidents exist. Thanks to extensive filter options, the people in charge can configure their individual view and highlight exactly the information that is relevant to their work. **Tailored role and permission management** RePort is rounded off by a sophisticated user management system. It makes it possible to assign tailored roles and individually defined access rights to both internal and external users. This way, the platform meets the needs of its many different users. ### Messe Frankfurt Partnership URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/messe-frankfurt-partnership **From proof of concept to business-critical platform** A partnership since 2013. Three load-bearing systems. 1.2 million accounts. #### About Messe Frankfurt Messe Frankfurt is one of the largest trade fair, congress and event organisers in the world, with around 2,700 employees at 29 locations worldwide. ### Media Package Manager (Messe Frankfurt) URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/messe-frankfurt-mpm **Medienpaket Manager: Exhibitor Marketing as Self-Service** #### About Messe Frankfurt Messe Frankfurt is one of the largest trade fair, congress, and event organizers in the world, with around 2,700 employees across 29 locations worldwide. #### What Messe Frankfurt needed Each event brings thousands of exhibitors - each with their own copy, logos, videos. Each one wants to be visible: in print, on the web, in the app, on the hall plan. Coordinating that by email, phone and by hand would be a full-time department. What was needed was a solution where exhibitors can take on the work for their own presence themselves. And the trade fair organization gets its overview back. **The self-service portal** *For exhibitors* > Task: Manage your own trade fair presence. Exhibitors log in via the central trade fair sign-in. There they find their profile for each event. Contact details, marketing copy, logos, videos. Everything is maintained in the MPM and reviewed in preview before going live. Once approved, publication happens automatically: to print for the catalog, into exhibitor and product search on the web, into the interactive hall plan, into the Navigator app. No email back-and-forth, no duplicate entry, no version chaos. If you want more visibility, you book paid add-ons through the integrated shop: extra logos, videos, ad placements, documents. **The event administration** *For the trade fair organization* > Task: Manage events, configure add-ons, keep an overview. On the admin side, the marketing and sales teams at Messe Frankfurt work in a Kanban-style interface: what's running, what's coming up, what's done. Per event, the bookable add-ons can be configured freely. Which packages, which prices, which options. Plus integrated reporting: who has filled out their profile, where data is missing, which add-ons were booked, how booking trends are developing. ### Alpenhunde Timing System URL: https://pripares.com/en/success-stories/alpenhunde-timing **Timing for professional sport** Up to 1/10,000 second precision. On every slope, in every forest, over every crest. #### About Alpenhunde Alpenhunde manufactures products for professional sport timing. These are precision time-tracking systems that coaches and associations use in professional racing and training, where other systems reach their limits. #### What Alpenhunde needed Precise to 1/10,000 of a second, operational even where Wi-Fi fails and mobile coverage doesn't reach. A system like this isn't off the shelf. It had to be built from the ground up - from the patented radio network to the training app. #### Precision for professional sport **A novel, patented radio network** designed for long distances and difficult terrain. Through forests, over crests, on steep slopes - where Wi-Fi fails and mobile coverage can't reach. We developed this network together with the specialists at Alpenhunde. **The Alpenhunde App** iOS and Android, built by us. Coaches operate the system directly from the slope, assign times, correct false starts and see results instantly. Everything runs through the modules' Wi-Fi hotspot, no internet needed. **STACY** a standalone web-based training platform, also built by us. Coaches import data from the system, group and sort times and split times as needed, and share results via link in real time with athletes, parents and spectators. The Alpenhunde Timing System is in use today with the German Ski Association, with clubs and at competitions - primarily in alpine ski racing, and also in mountain biking and inline sport. Up to six split times per course. Set up in minutes, wireless, ready from second one. --- ## Company ### About Us URL: https://pripares.com/en/about-us A software house from Munich, since 2001. Large office, real team - not a remote startup. We build custom software, and we take that seriously. #### What Drives Us We're developers who love solving real problems. We listen, understand, build. We dive deep into your domain - whether it's surgical microscopes, travel calculations, or forklift logistics. **Straight talk - always. Even when it's uncomfortable.** We tell you what works and what doesn't. If something isn't going well in the project, you'll hear about it immediately - not as a surprise at the end. We'd rather give an honest assessment than a nice proposal that doesn't deliver. **Solve problems, not sell complexity** Our goal is the simplest solution that works. Not the most elaborate one that sells well. **Freedom over dependency** We build open solutions. You work with us because you want to - not because you have to. Team: Our team consists of Solution Architects with different areas of focus. Depending on the project, a single architect or a cross-functional team works on your solution - always AI-augmented. Focus areas: - **Backend & System Architecture**: Robust data structures, APIs, business logic, system design - **Frontend Development**: Modern, responsive interfaces for web and mobile - **Product Design & UX**: User flows, interfaces, prototypes - software people enjoy using - **Data & Integration**: Interfaces, data migration, system connectivity, data cleansing - **Image Processing & Real-Time**: GPU rendering, computer vision, real-time systems Our home - and the place where events and workshops sometimes happen too. If you'd like to stop by: we'd love to have you! Coffee is ready. ### How We Work URL: https://pripares.com/en/how-we-work **How We Work** We don't send consultants. We come ourselves - and deliver on schedule. **First understand, then frame.** We dive into your business and deliver a documented solution sketch with prioritized use cases and an honest cost range - a solid decision basis before you commit. **Show, then build.** First we make your software visible - as a walk-through click-dummy where you recognize your own processes. On that basis we quote a fixed price. Then our AI-powered pipeline builds - with automated tests, accessibility, and clean documentation as standard. **After go-live comes the next feature.** You decide how close the collaboration should be after go-live. Whether we're on call, continuously developing, or running operations entirely - no minimum terms, no lock-in contracts. AI-augmented work: IT projects rarely fail because of the technology. They fail because nobody asked the right questions. What AI as a tool changes: we have more time to do exactly that - understand the problem before the first line of code is written. - **AI as a Tool**: AI-powered methods give us more time for what matters: clean architecture, thorough testing, understandable documentation. - **Code with Judgment**: AI generates code that looks clean. Whether it's maintainable, secure, and correct - only someone who's been building software for years can tell. That's exactly what we do. - **Automated Tests**: Every important function is automatically tested. Not as an afterthought, but from the start. - **Clean Documentation**: Not for the drawer, but so everyone understands what was built and why. Collaboration principles: - Your architect knows your business. You never explain things twice. - When something doesn't make sense, we say so. - We don't blindly implement. We think along and take responsibility. - You see progress continuously. Short updates - as much as needed, as little as possible. #### How We Work - FAQ **How do you ensure budget and timeline hold?** An honest cost range from the workshop, a binding fixed price only after the click-dummy is signed off. In between: short development cycles with regular results, and honest communication if something shifts. No surprises at the end. **We have an IT department. How do you work with them?** We integrate seamlessly. Whether as an extended development team, as an external partner for a specific project, or as a sparring partner for architecture topics - we adapt to your structure. **What if requirements change during the project?** That's normal and expected. We work agile - priorities can shift without derailing the project. That's what regular check-ins are for. **How much time do I need to invest myself?** During the build phase: about 2-4 hours per week for feedback and coordination. We manage the project, you steer the direction. **Is our data secure?** Yes. We exclusively work with AI providers that are EU AI Act compliant and don't use your data for model training. Your business secrets remain your business secrets. ### Discovery Workshop URL: https://pripares.com/en/how-we-work/discovery-workshop **The Discovery Workshop** Two days for clarity. You come with question marks, you leave with a plan. #### Who Is the Workshop For? - Have a concrete problem but don't know what the solution should look like - Want to know what custom software would cost for your project - Need a solid decision basis - for yourself, your board, or your management - Don't want months of analysis before something happens #### How the Workshop Works We meet for 2 days - at your place, at ours in Munich, or remotely. You bring the people who know the problem. We bring the technical expertise. We listen. You tell us about your business, your processes, your bottlenecks. We ask many questions - not to build complexity, but to uncover what matters. Together, we think the solution through. What should the software look like? What must it do - and what intentionally not? Which existing systems stay, which get replaced, which get connected? #### The Result - Problem Analysis: What we understood - your situation, bottlenecks, goals - Inventory: What exists already, what can stay, what should be replaced - Solution Architecture: How the software should be structured - clearly visualized, not just for techies - Top Use Cases: What the software needs to do - prioritized by impact and effort - Cost Range: An honest corridor for time and investment - no fixed-price promises that wobble later - Recommendation: Our honest advice on how to best move forward - and what the next step would look like #### Workshop - FAQ **Do we need to prepare?** Barely. Bring the people who know the problem, and show us how you work today - Excel files, screenshots, system access. We'll ask the right questions. **What if our problem is too big for 2 days?** The workshop always delivers a complete solution sketch with prioritized use cases and an honest cost range. So you start manageable and can decide after each step how to continue. **Can it be done remotely?** Yes. On-site is ideal because you can show things and discuss faster. But remote works just as well - we do it regularly. **What if it turns out custom software isn't the right solution?** Then we'll tell you that. Maybe standard software with customizations is enough, maybe a better Excel structure will do. We don't sell you something you don't need. That's what the workshop is for too. **Who is our contact person in the workshop?** A Solution Architect who would also lead the project afterward. Not a sales rep who disappears after the workshop. The person who understands your problem is the same one who builds your solution. **Can we deduct the workshop from taxes?** As a business expense, generally yes. Please consult your tax advisor for your specific case. --- ## Contact & Careers ### Contact URL: https://pripares.com/en/contact **Let's talk.** Whether it's a concrete project or a first idea - we'd love to hear from you.
