Sportcast GmbH is a subsidiary of the DFL and has been producing the worldwide TV base signal for all Bundesliga matches since 2006. The company is also responsible for international distribution to over 200 countries.
With RePort, we built a central platform for Sportcast that takes the quality management of their TV productions to a whole new level.
Already during production preparation, a digital checklist function provides clarity: all to-dos are visible at any time and can be processed conveniently - including on mobile. A dashboard makes it possible to track the current state of preparations in real time.
After production, the focus shifts to the final reports: they document whether a production ran smoothly or whether anything stood out. When incidents are recorded, they automatically land in the incident management module, where they are processed, analysed and evaluated in a structured way - fast, transparent and traceable at any time. This makes it possible to take targeted measures to prevent future incidents.
The production overview makes it immediately clear to the internal quality management team which reports for a production have already been submitted and how many incidents exist. Thanks to extensive filter options, the people in charge can configure their individual view and highlight exactly the information that is relevant to their work.
RePort is rounded off by a sophisticated user management system. It makes it possible to assign tailored roles and individually defined access rights to both internal and external users. This way, the platform meets the needs of its many different users.
